Five years ago, together with my friend and a very talented musician Dmitry Kotleev, we released this arrangement of the Ukrainian Christmas carol Shchedryk (Carol of the Bells) and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Today this recording sounds like never before.This was an enormously hard year with a catastrophe happening in the world outside and in our inner worlds. All we wish for this Christmas is peace. The original song is the Ukrainian carol called “Shchedryk”, from the word “generous”. Later this song was adapted into English and became world famous. We combined both versions and added the traditional God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen, which is well suited here.Share this song with relatives and friends.
