Why do I love my job as a singing teacher?

Why do I love my job as a singing teacher? Because by doing it I can make people happier.

I love watching daily little wins:

- when a student could not hit that high note, and now they can,

- when a student could not master that difficult passage in their favourite song, and now we learned it,

- when a student struggled with voice cracks, and now they don't,

- when a student's voice gradually becomes louder and stronger,

- when students feel more and more confident on stage...

I love celebrating big victories with my students:

- some of my students had a dream to perform in musicals, and now they do;

- others win prizes in singing competitions;

- some students successfully passed important auditions and exams;

- some students who thought that they could not sing at all are now performing regularly on stage, having the time of their lives.

And the most important - the fundamental personal growth that comes when we learn to

- listen to our own voices and ourselves,

- accept and love our voices and ourselves,

- value our voices and ourselves,

- trust our voices and ourselves,

- understand who we are and stay true to ourselves rather then copying the others,

- always know that our voices and personalities are unique and precious,

- take care of our instruments, i.e. ourselves;

- say 'no' to things and beliefs that are harmful for our voices and ourselves,

- express ourselves through singing and beyond, in our daily lives,

- be open and brave with new experiences and people

and much, much more...

I would like to say a huge thank you to all my students for trusting me on this journey! So looking forward to many many more wins, big and small, to come as a reward for your work!
